planes that dont get flown anymore

I was reading a topic a minute ago about CEOs' wanting to get rid of planes that they do not fly anymore.  Well instead of getting rid of them for good why cant we start something up to sell used planes.
For instance, one va is getting rid of a 380.  instead of getting rid of the 380 put it up for sale and sell it to a different va.  of course that va will have to own the plane before it can be sold but that would give more vas the opportunity to own aircraft instead of leasing.  what does everyone think of this idea.

I think that is a great idea...It is something we have discussed in the last meeting and we are looking at ways to make it happen...so stay tuned.
